Standing here at the edge of existence
Wondering when it all caved
Wondering where we went wrong
Solitude wears the same face
And darkness weaves the same roots
Everything seems to be changing
But my will to cease to exist
Upon the mountains
Down in the valleys
Nothing compares to this magnificence
Nothing compares to this beauty and splendor
On days end, this will be all that remains
On nights fall, this will be everything
Hell crawls with cities, they teem with life;
And timeless weeping and unending strife,
In ancient scripting, death we glorified.
The wind whispers
And points me to the core of a natural world
So pure
Where the spirits and creatures
Sing an harmonious tune
The rivers flow into the elements
A shimmering light
Another dream.
Your dreams I pity for these worlds stand vile,
Consuming memories of what once was grand,
The prose of chaos in our hearts writ large,
Unfolding dreadful histories vast.

Jordan Vauvert

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-
